Prepare your LENOTOS blind for its first outing and pack it away with care. Frame types differ: use the instructions supplied with your exact model for opening and folding.
Identify your frame
- Spring-steel pop-up frame: 270° blind for 1–2 hunters. The frame is stored under tension and springs into shape when released from the carrying bag.
- 5-hub frame: 360° blind for 1–2 hunters and 270° blind for 2–3 hunters. These use a different structure from the spring-steel model.
Do not apply a spring-steel twist-fold method to a hub frame.
Before setup
- Check the model and included instructions. Locate the carrying bag, stakes and tie-downs supplied with your product.
- Choose a clear practice area. Leave room around the frame, especially when opening a spring-steel model. Keep others clear of the opening frame.
- Inspect the equipment. Check the fabric, frame, hubs and attachment points for damage before use.
- Practice before your trip. Familiarize yourself with the model-specific opening, door and window operation.
Position and secure your blind
Follow the supplied instructions to open the structure. Once set up, position the door and windows for your intended layout. Use the supplied ground stakes and tie-downs at the designated attachment points, as directed by the model instructions.
The linked 270° and 360° hub models list 4 ropes and 8 stakes. Accessory quantities vary by model. Avoid pulling on windows or forcing a frame that resists movement.
Before folding
- Remove your equipment and clear the interior.
- Remove and gather stakes and tie-downs before packing. Store them so sharp points do not damage the fabric.
- Follow the model-specific folding sequence. Do not force, twist or bend hubs or poles beyond the supplied instructions.
- Stop if you are unsure. Contact us with the product link and a photo of the frame for help identifying your model.
Storage
Allow the fabric to dry before long-term storage. Remove dirt and debris, check for damage, and keep the packed equipment in a dry place. Refer to the supplied care instructions for cleaning your specific model.
